The International Week of TAMK School of Art and Media, Tampere, Finland, included five international workshops and a seminar. Performing Pictures started the International Week on May 9th with the workshop A STATE OF CHANGE. The results of the workshops were presented as a part of Tampere Art Factory programme May 15-16.
With the workshop, Robert Brecevic from Performing Pictures addressed all parts required to make a visual experience that involves moving imagery/video and some kind of responsiveness. The responsiveness part means that the viewing experience is somehow connected to a physical presence or activity of the viewer and is facilitated through sensory input other than the visitor or curator pressing “play”, “pause” or “stop”.
