The Grand Opening of amber’08, the largest international event in Arts and New Technologies in Turkey, took place on the 7th of November in Istanbul.
A large crowd had gathered for the Opening, which among other things featured a 10 meter interactive video installation by Performing Pictures. The theme of the festival was to explore the theme of “Inter-passive Persona” in the here and now of the digitalized world. amber’08 takes place between 7- 16 November 2008 in Istanbul at a variety of venues. Performing Pictures' work was selected as one of the 8 installations among more than 300 works.
